For parents

The "My Child" part of Hazira Khata is for parents. It works whether or not your child’s school uses the app — you do not even need an account to start.

What you can do without an account

Install the app, tap "look around without an account", type your child’s name and you are started. Daily logs, your own attendance record, the government vaccine schedule, exam roll and registration numbers, and a small memories diary — all offline, all on your phone.

If you want school news too

If your child’s teacher uses Hazira Khata, you can connect to their digital diary. Messages, exam routines and school notices then arrive on your phone directly.

Read these as a parent

Ask your teacher to read these

The pages below are written for the teacher — the connecting is done from their side. If your teacher is not sure how, send them these links.

  • Connecting every guardian at once Sending one link at a time takes all day for a class of forty. Send the join request to every guardian in one tap, and connect the parent standing in front of you with a QR code on the spot.
  • When a guardian asks to join, on their own A guardian opens the school's website, writes their child's name and sends a request. It lands in the institution tab. All you do is point at which student that is — the guardian confirms the rest themselves.
  • Seeing who is connected, and removing someone After sending the requests, the only question that matters is whether it worked. The list at the bottom of the diary answers it — who is marked connected, who to call, and exactly what the red ✕ does.
  • Sending a message to guardians Notices, homework, fees or exam news — straight to the guardian's phone, free. Photos and PDFs too. Before you send, the app tells you who will actually receive it and who will not.
  • Sending the exam routine to guardians You already typed the routine into the app once. One tap sends that same routine to the guardians' phones — no retyping, no photographing a sheet of paper.

Common questions

Does it work without an account or sign-in?

Yes. My Child opens with no account and everything stays on your phone. If you sign in later, your records are saved to your account as well, so they come back on a new phone.

My child’s school does not use this app — is it still useful?

Yes. Vaccine dates, daily logs, exam details and memories need no school at all. Connecting to a school only adds the messages a teacher sends on top.

Is the attendance the school’s official record?

No. My Child shows what you write yourself — it is your own record. The register the school keeps is a separate thing.

What if I have more than one child?

Add them all, then switch between them using the row of names at the top of the screen.
