How to take attendance
Daily attendance takes less than a minute. Follow the pictures.
The screenshots show the app in Bangla, its main language. The buttons sit in the same places in English.
-
Open the app. You will see your list of classes.
-
On the card for the class you want, tap "দেখুন" (View).
-
Tap the "উপস্থিতি নিন" (Take Attendance) button.
-
Tap the date you are taking attendance for. Today's date is already selected.
If you missed a previous day, you can pick that date here.
-
Tap "ওকে" (OK).
-
Tick the "উপস্থিত" (Present) box next to each student who came. A tick means present, blank means absent.
-
If almost everyone is present, tap "সকলে উপস্থিত" (All Present) — everyone gets ticked at once. Then untick only the absent ones.
-
Tap the "আপডেট" (Update) button at the bottom. Done — today's attendance is saved.
No internet? No problem. Attendance is saved on your phone and syncs by itself when the internet comes back. You do not need to take it again.
Common questions
If I take attendance with no internet, will the data be lost?
No. Attendance is saved on your phone first, then syncs to the server by itself once you have internet. You do not need to do anything.
What if I tick the wrong student?
Tap the box again and the tick comes off. You can change as much as you like before saving, and even after saving you can fix it from "উপস্থিতির তথ্য পরিবর্তন" (Change attendance info).
What happens if I take attendance twice on the same day?
It is not counted twice. Attendance for a day replaces the earlier entry, so taking it again simply updates it.
I want to take attendance more than once in a day.
Tap "+ নতুন হাজিরা" (New attendance) at the top to open another session for that day — useful if you keep morning and afternoon separately.
